Description
Do you struggle with the relationship with your middle-school-aged daughter? Do you want to build a more trusting and emotionally connected relationship with your daughter? If your answer is ‘yes’ then this is a workshop for you. This workshop will focus on experiential and embodied tools for building healthier communication, attunement, understanding, and repair between mothers and their middle school-aged daughters (grades 6-8). Through mindful movement, somatic experiencing skills, art, touch, and guided discussion prompts, mother/daughter dyads will learn to connect to their bodies safely to support nervous system regulation and increase capacity for attunement, communication, and repair. Facilitators Rebecca Ehrke and Katie Bohn will draw upon decades of experience in the mental health field and embodiment to guide you in this embodied journey with your daughter.
